FAQs – PIMA Annual Meeting

What is the dress code for the Conference?

Resort attire or business casual.

When are the scheduled networking events/opportunities?

Thursday - Opening Reception

Friday - Breakfast, morning Break and in the afternoon. For those with no other dinner plans there will be a casual "dutch treat" dinner on Friday night. Otherwise various members entertain clients.

Saturday - Breakfast, Break, Closing night events.

Where can I find the Attendee List and Speaker Biographies?

Organizations attending are published on our meeting page around and after the time of our Hotel and Early Bird Deadline of December 15th.  Members may access the registration list at any time and with complete contact information via the Members-Only section of the Website. PIMA will email lists to registrants around that same time as above. Non-members will receive a list with limited contact information and for one-time use. On-site, up-to-date Registration lists are available on the meeting mobile app. and will be included in the Registration bags on-site.

What's the best way to connect with people at the meeting? New & Prospective Members are invited to a short orientation event preceding the Opening Reception. Board members will host you and are happy to introduce you throughout the conference. Our networking events are also great ways to meet people. It’s a friendly group, so if you see a PIMA nametag, introduce yourself at the pool, in the bar, etc. Sending an email to select registrants (vs. a blast email to all registrants) to find a meeting time, is also an option. (You will have more success by using a personal approach and choosing someone with the right profile, role, and organization.) Finally, PIMA members enjoy introducing new people or prospective members. Ask them to!

Where can I find the presentations? PIMA conferences are paperless with respect to presentations.  We post available presentations on the Members-Only section of our website the week after the meeting. Non-members may request a specific presentation.

What events may my Registered Partner/Guest attend? Registered Partners (i.e. spouses and guest not employed in the industry) are included in evening meal events on Thursday & Saturday and may participate in our optional Partners Program activities by day—see brochure for details and registration fees. (Note: Breakfast and Breaks are for meeting registrants only.) Children are also welcome but please email Ramona Hopkins, Dir. of Membership Services, at ramona@pima-assn.org with names and ages to ensure we have seating at our closing event.
