Co-Chairs: Christine Carway, New York Life Christine_carway@newyorklife.com and Jerry Wickersham, First Consulting, Inc. jerry.wickersham@firstconsulting.com Identify and provide information and guidance to PIMA and our members about key legislative and regulatory issues, via meetings and our communications vehicles. Serve as an early warning or alert system as to issues—at the federal, state, or NAIC level—affecting members, about which either PIMA or the membership should be aware or for which PIMA as a national trade association should take a position. Assist the leadership with prospecting, making calls, and other activity to assist in attaining our goals. Education Action Group
Chair, Joan O’Sullivan joan.osullivan@marshpm.com Oversee the content development of PIMA’s meetings/conferences, in support of the Strategic Plan and per our meetings “template.” Provide guidance and assistance to meeting chairs on topics, speakers, etc. Ensure excellent educational value, particularly to our Agency membership. Chair, Frank Fimmano, CLU Imm. Past President frank_fimmano@aoncons.com To recommend annually a slate of nominees for officer and director positions; to communicate with the membership about that process. MEMBER FORUMS – Agency, Advisory and Business Partner Forums
(NOTE: These forums are comprised of all members of PIMA, in each member category.) To provide a forum for discussion and surveying about common business issues that Agency, Business Partner and/or Company members face. Provide advice and input to the Board and staff on those issues, thus assisting PIMA in being responsive in delivery of educational programming, information and other member services. Chairs
